El Greco assignment: Closely read the paragraph in chapter 9 starting with " Even when the East excited me most..." Draw or paint the scene Nick describes in the style of El Greco. Look up some of his paintings so you can get an idea of the tone he established.

Hello everyone!

Thank you for being such wonderful hosts for guests last week. I was told my both of our visitors that they were impressed by you and that you seem like a really smart class (:

I want to remind you that your final projects are due June 8th. I will be evaluating both projects based on:

1) Creativity
2) Writing (the writing must reflect critical thinking, lucid syntax and elevated use of language).
3) How effectively your themes, symbols, (or whatever the prompt requested you to respond to.)

Although this is not a "written final," don't assume that this will be an easy "A". I expect you to put forth great effort into each project.

If you have any questions, please let me know! I hope you enjoyed the books and that you have fun with the projects!
